I had a great acupuncture experience with VUIM. From the reception greeting, to the intake process, to the actual treatment, everyone was very professional. I highly recommend VUIM for your treatments.

My massage therapist recommended that I try acupuncture at VUIM. With some hesitation, I went for a session, being treated by the wonderful Dr. Haley Parker, and I have already secured my next appointment with her. The clinic is clean and inviting with very professional and cheerful staff. Dr. Parker's professionalism and gentle manners calmed by initial apprehensions about acupuncture. I understand that it will take more than a session to alleviate my issues, but I am glad to have followed the advice of my massage therapist, who happens to be a student at UVIM. Thank you.

VUIM is truly wonderful!!! I've been going to their intern clinic for acupuncture for over a year. I started at a physically uncomfortable & emotionally difficult point in my life. VUIM's kind and skilled interns, along with the incredibly knowledgeable supervising professors, provided me with both physical & emotional relief. The facility is always clean and peaceful. I told my friends & family about VUIM because I wanted them to experience the same healing that I did. Still, my life got very busy and I stopped getting acupuncture as often as I used to. Since 2004, our teaching clinic at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM) has been a comprehensive, patient-centered center for natural healing and wellness. The VUIM Professional Clinic emphasizes privacy, comfort, and one on one attention with one of our Licensed Professional Practitioners of Acupuncture. At the Academic Teaching Clinic of VUIM, our clinical interns work under the guidance of our supervising practitioners to provide you with your Acupuncture care and herbal consultation.
