I was walking through the mall and saw a huge sign stating "Ethnic Hair Specialist." As an African American female, it is very difficult to find a good stylist close to home that you trust will do a good job. I normally have to have a reference. Anyway, I went in and made an appointment. I was very pleased with the service I received from my stylist Dona. She took the time to ask me what I was looking for and made great conversation. My hair ended up looking FABULOUS! I would recommend her to anyone who wants a blowdry, flat iron and haircut. The prices are reasonable for this area too! You leave the salon feeling brand new. I thought this salon was affiliated with Toni & Guy but I realized upon entering it's not. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and I'm pretty easy to please. When I requested a haircut she blunty said ok sit down. I asked her a few hair related questions and you'd think I asked for her first born child. I told her nevermind and left. Very rude, unprofessional and I'm glad I went with my better judgement and did not get a haircut there.

Hate this place! Went for the Keratin treatment last friday and they told me to be careful for 72 hours and I was very very careful(luckily have pictures taken of my hair at every stage) before I went for my hair wash. But my hair came back to its original form after the hair wash. I used the keratin shampoo from their store which was $44 bucks. When I went back to their salon to show my hair they could see the differnce. I paid $225 for the services and this what I got from them. In return the owner offers me a free treatment after 6 weeks or a blow dry and a hair cut to my hair. I am leaving country in 6 weeks and I told them that I was leaving the country.
