“I have been preparing my own taxes for decades with no issues until I had a status change on one of my properties in a state that has the most complicated tax system I have ever encountered. Because I had been using the online version of a large tax preparation service (premium version was free for me), I decided to go to them in person for assistance. Despite my being a customer for over 2 decades, I was literally yelled at, treated in a very condescending manner, and dismissed by one of their preparers for all in the store to witness.
