Our pup has been going to daycare at Mahogany Ridge once a week for a year. Dylan and Theresa are amazing. Oakie starts howling with excitement as soon as we get close, and he comes home exhausted and just so happy. We are so pleased with the socialization and behavior improvements we’ve seen since he’s been going to daycare. Such a sweet place for our boy to make friends, play hard, and learn to be his best self. Can’t recommend Mahogany Ridge enough - absolutely the best care for our boy, and the best money we spend every week. Highly recommend!

I have taken classes from Theresa Richmond at Mahogany Ridge for over 5 years. Most recently I sent my Wheaten Terrier for some private training. I have always been impressed at the quality of the training in the classes, but WOW the private lessons and board and train were truly fantastic. What a difference! Theresa not only has the touch with dogs, but is able to explain and help their humans! I highly recommend! Fancy says hello in her best ladylike position!

Mahogany Ridge was originally established in 1982 as a dog training school and retail shop in Lake George, New York. Now located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mahogany Ridge brings a wide range of services to Culpeper County and North Central Virginia. The 16 peaceful acres are dedicated to dog well-being and pleasure. Multiple fenced in fields, woods, a creek, shade, pools in summer and ample parking are only a few of the features we offer to dogs and their owners. For over twenty years Theresa and Mahogany Ridge have flourished, offering dog training, daycare, retail dog food and supplies along with much support and advice to the many friends of Mahogany Ridge.
