From Mahogany Ridge
Mahogany Ridge was originally established in 1982 as a dog training school and retail shop in Lake George, New York. Now located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mahogany Ridge brings a wide range of services to Culpeper County and North Central Virginia. The 16 peaceful acres are dedicated to dog well-being and pleasure. Multiple fenced in fields, woods, a creek, shade, pools in summer and ample parking are only a few of the features we offer to dogs and their owners. For over twenty years Theresa and Mahogany Ridge have flourished, offering dog training, daycare, retail dog food and supplies along with much support and advice to the many friends of Mahogany Ridge.

Theresa came to our home to do a personal training session with my family to help us with our Redbone Coonhound, Haisley. It was the best decision we ever made! We were seeing some annoying behaviors from our dog (ie, paws up on counters, paws up on table while we’re eating, barking in crate, playing keep away) I can tell you now, after that one session, it’s like we have a new, well behaved and well mannered dog! Theresa gave us the tools and advice we needed and they work! We couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Theresa!
