I cannot say enough wonderful things about Old Dominion Animal Hospital! We brought in our guinea pig (yes, guinea pig! 🐹❤), and Dr. Jagger was absolutely incredible with her. She was so sweet, gentle, patient, and genuinely loving. You could tell immediately that she truly cares about the animals she treats. Honestly, I wish people received the same level of compassion and care that she gave our little piggie!

And it wasn’t just Dr. Jagger. The entire team was amazing. From the vet techs to the front desk staff, everyone we encountered was kind, welcoming, helpful, and compassionate. They made us feel like our tiny family member mattered just as much as any other… read full review

A loving and caring place for our recent rescue - made them comfortable and relaxed, and administered shots and tests promptly. Parking is scarce, but the quality of care is well worth the small struggle.

We had a crisis situation with our cat, Penny. She had been very sick the weekend prior to coming into the office on Monday. An ultrasound was done by Dr Wood - with the diagnosis of cancer with many tumors. Later that day, we had her life ended, which was so difficult. Shelly and the staff were supportive and arranged for us to be in the peaceful grief room. We came in 30 minutes earlier to spend time and say good bye to our sweet cat. Dr Wood spent time answering our questions and giving support. We greatly appreciated the tender care given by the staff.
