About Planet Fitness
Planet Fitness is known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to fitness. With over 2,400 locations, the gym promotes Big Fitness Energy™, helping members feel energized and motivated. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff, who are always ready to assist with equipment. Members appreciate the friendly environment, with fellow gym-goers often willing to show how to use machines. The 24/5 hours of operation encourage regular attendance, making workouts a daily habit for many. The gym offers various amenities, including hydrochairs and massage chairs that have positively impacted members' circulation. However, some reviews point out challenges at certain locations, particularly regarding equipment availability. One member noted that the gym can feel crowded, especially with a high number of students using the space. Waiting for equipment, especially weights and machines, can be a common issue. Additionally, some locations have been criticized for cleanliness, with reports of trash left around and instances of inappropriate behavior in locker rooms. While some machinery is reported to be dated or in need of repair, many members still find value in their memberships, particularly given the low monthly fee. Overall, Planet Fitness provides a clean and friendly environment, although it may benefit from more equipment and better maintenance at certain locations.
I absolutely love this gym but I have noticed in the last few months the adjustable benches have gotten very wobbly. Over half are missing the rubber grips under one or more of the legs. It’s hard to feel confident in a lift when the bench wobbles or slides under you when getting the weight up. Please provide maintenance to the adjustable benches since so many people use them.
Always greeted with a hi and a smile as soon as I walk in. Great staff, restroom/locker room I always clean and kept. Paper towels and disinfectant spray bottles always at the ready. Highly recommend this gym and location and have to numerous friends. When walking out, one of the staff tells me bye and to have a great day/evening.
This place brightens up my day and allows me
to push myself to better my body. Some of the best staff iv had the pleasure of talking with, they keep everything clean and try there best to make shur every machine is working. If it isnt working it's usually fixed in a day.
