Mary did a stellar job bringing our mother’s 50 year old Vienna home to market with an excellent ROI. She helped us identify resources to empty, renovate and stage the home in record time. Going to market just a few weeks into the pandemic shutdown was concerning. Mary did a wonderful job marketing the property. She handled the barrage of appointments to show the home during the first 4 days it was on the market and on day 5 we reviewed 4 excellent contracts. SOLD! We received offers well over our asking price at a time when we saw other similar properties dropping their asking price. I have dealt with many real estate agents over the years, but Penny Chrissomallis was absolutely the VERY BEST!! She is the consummate professional with years of experience selling homes in Maryland. When I was ready to list a property for sale in Maryland, I contacted several agents to preview the recently remodeled property and give me a competitive market analysis (CMA) and marketing plan to sell the house. After the agent previews, Penny was the only agent that actually gave me feedback for things she noticed during her preview that needed my immediate attention before the house was listed, including some code requirements and repairs. The remaining agents told me that the house was beautiful and nothing more. That made my decision easy and I selected Penny as the kind of agent that would partner with me to get the house sold quickly and at the best price. Throughout the process, Penny constantly went above and beyond and suggested a few more changes to improve the house's marketability, e.g., to add a door between the primary bedroom and the sitting room so the house could be listed as a 4 bedroom (or nursery/office/sitting room) which would increase the house's value. She recommended an excellent professional stager and photographer (+ floor plans & 3D content) she had worked with for years to showcase the house. She met with them at the house to ensure that the work they did met and exceeded my expectations including staging the patio to highlight the beautiful backyard. Penny provided amazing support and guidance throughout the process and she touched base with me often to ensure I got feedback on potential buyers who toured the house and when deliverables were due right through settlement. I always felt like a partner through the entire process vs. my past experiences when I felt once the listing agreement was signed I was on my own to get the house sold.
