Dr Shuler and her staff are the best of the best. We have taken our pug to her since he was 7 weeks old and he turns 13 years old next month. He wouldn’t be here and in such good health without PVAH and Dr Shuler. I’ve never known anyone to love animals as much as they do, and they try to offer the most affordable options available in every situation. They put the health of their patients first in everything they do. We will never go anywhere else!
I wouldn’t consider any other vet. Dr Shuler and her team are amazing. They are so great that my dog would actually get excited to go see them. They treat your pets like they would their own and have repeatedly gone above and beyond with my animals. When it was time to say goodbye, they were gentle, kind and grieving right beside me. If you are on the fence, just go for a visit and let your pet tell you how they feel. 100% recommend!
I can't recommend these folks enough. Beth designed this business to give your pets the best care possible - even luxuries I don't think most humans get, like heated operating tables. She recently graduated herbalism school and mixed us up a custom tincture for some behavioral issues. The staff coo over our pups (even the grumpy one) and are clearly passionate about working in veterinary care. Powell Valley is good at picking up the phone when you call, and keeping you informed when your pet is seen. They've squeezed us in for emergencies, and coordinated referrals and transfer of care in worse emergencies. The absolute gold standard of animal care in the region!
