I met Dr. Kourgelis when he and I crossed paths professionally. Little did I know several months later I would see him again. 0 degrees outside and my 33 year old horse decided it was time to call it quits. I called the emergency number and ten minutes later Dr. Kourgelis called me back. He came out and helped my old girl move on to greener pastures. His kindness and professionalism was greatly appreciated during a most difficult time. I've had the pleasure of working with several wonderful vets in my lifetime and Dr. K has been officially added to the list! This world and our animals are better off with people like him in it! Woodside, you're lucky to have him!
Dr. Cote came to see my older gelding who is newly moved to Virginia. I was at work, but she worked with the caring barn owner and his new farrier to evaluate him thoroughly, speak to me by phone for my input, and answer all my questions. Later in the day after she finished her evaluation, she called me again for a wrap up and creation of a plan. Woodside has followed up promptly as planned for ongoing treatment planning. I look forward to working with them more.
