My mother is currently at Leewood. It is one thing after the other. Her bed constantly breaks. The bed loses power and can't move up and down.Their solution on fixing the bed was to slap black electrical tape on the cord. The bed is obviously very old and the bed frame is rusted. After she was there a few days we were finally informed that she was there.She was there for factures in her leg and hip after a fall at home.I sat there and watched her cry from the pain only to be told that her pain medication had to ordered and had not arrived yet. Then she had to use the bathroom they couldn't get here in a wheel chair. They told her they would be back with a larger bed pan....read full review

Please, do not trust this facility with your loved one. There was a MAJOR medical error done to my father thanks to the admissions department. This mistake cannot be undone. Admissions carelessly entered him as his own representative into the computer system, and skipped over the part where it states if he does/does not have a POA. The nurses then asked my father for permission on a medical choice when he was not fully coherent. Admissions has done nothing but blame my family for this, as they say we should have told them we represented my father. Had admissions done their job correctly, and given our family the admissions paperwork, none of this would have ever happened....read full review
