We had solar installed in our trailer 3 years ago, and it worked “ok”. On our last boon docking trip I kept getting “high heat” alerts and then the monitor quit. Tried to contact the outfit that installed the system, and they had gone out of business. Lucky for us we found Green RV solutions!! Garrett came and got our monitor working, updated the software, and found some major wiring issues that were keeping my system from working properly, and could have been dangerous. We truly wish we would have found Green RV Solutions to begin with!! I’m traveling with my family across a third of the country. I lose power while boondocking(solar). The portable generator only supplies power to the 12V, AC system won’t run. It’s hot and even hotter in the trailer. I stop by an RV Center, call at least six people, get good information but no fix to my problem. I call Garrett 10 minutes before the work day is done and while on the phone, he walks me through how to fix my problem in 15 minutes. AC back on, fam happy, problem solved. But there is more, he determines my system was improperly installed and drives an hour and a half the next morning to spend 6 hours uninstalling and reinstalling my system so I would... read full review

Garrett Simpson finally made my solar system, that was installed by another company, actually work the way it was supposed to work. When the power goes out we don’t even know it till evening comes and we’re the only house in the neighborhood with lights. Our system has batteries integrated with a backup propane powered generator. So far the batteries have handled every power outage without needing the generator. We have no power bill and are self contained if we didn’t have the power company. We are actually carrying a surplus that I’m now thinking of getting an electric vehicle instead of losing the surplus power since the power company doesn’t pay for... read full review
