My second daughter has been having pains in her legs and sometimes arms for about a year, mostly at night, but often in the morning too. We tried a lot of different things to help her. I just assumed it was a nutritional deficiency. Some things seemed to help a bit, and it was mostly right before bedtime, so we dragged it along much longer than we should have. Well, we finally took her in to Root Medical for some muscle testing, and it turns out that she has an egg intolerance! I mean, of all the things, I don't know why I didn't consider something like this. And it makes sense; since our chickens started laying eggs, our diet has changed and we eat a lot more eggs, and that's when she started having problems. Fortunately, it's something that can probably be fixed, and an intolerance to food is not the same thing as an allergy. Since she stopped eating so many eggs and started taking the recommended vitamin supplements, her evening/morning pains have stopped. What a relief! Muscle testing is really amazing to me. It's something I don't really have a gift for, but I have mad respect for those who do!! And I'm grateful to have such a great practitioner in town. Holistic medicine for the win.
Dr. Ryan is a lifesaver! I have been going to Root Medical for over a decade and through well researched, validated, and grounded chiropractic principles he has reversed some major chronic spinal disfunction and pain, which I have suffered with for many years.
