Instead of a walk-in, crack things, and send you on your way - he listens, evaluates and feels the areas of concern, and then works the muscles and only adjusts when absolutely necessary. He's quietly confident and obviously competent.
I've been to roughly 10 chiropractors in my life and it's no hyperbole to say he's BY FAR my favorite. I genuinely feel like he cares and takes his time to work through the issue.

I have been to multiple chiropractors at different points in my life. I have never met a chiropractor like Dr. Olsen. But now that I have seen how he works to retrain the muscles before resetting the bones, I see no point in going to anyone else. They just pop and send you out and you feel like as soon as you sit down in your car your joints will all fall back to where they were. Yes, Dr. Olsen’s office is a drab little office and he is the only person there. Dr. Olson is an excellent chiropractor. I find him professionally excellent and 100% trustworthy as a practitioner. He is a little unorthodox as a chiropractor. He does not just “crack your back” and send you on your way. If you want a 2 minute adjustment l, he might not be for you. But I never asked. I asked to be able to walk more than 200 steps before my hip gave out and landed me on the ground or crying with each additional step. He helped make that a reality. He practices functional medicine which is a whole body approach to wellness. He manipulates the bones and all the muscles & stuff holding them in place.
