I started taking lessons from Danny six years ago. I honestly think it would be pretty hard to find a better drum teacher. As long as you’re willing to put in work he will help you progress. Simple as that.

Danny knows what he is doing as a professional drummer, he knows how to motivate with compassion and encourages excellence when teaching with patience! I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Danny Smith! Thank you Danny!

Danny genuinely loves his teaching profession; this is immediately apparent the moment you enter his classroom. He's authored his own instructional books(brilliantly crafted, with skill gauges and measured lesson plans), he's realistic anout his teaching approach and doesn't expect perfection, and he has a stratospheric amount of tolerance and patience for this 46 year old with bad drumming habits and 926,725,282,083 questions. Even if I wasn't local I'd make the drive for his lessons. Absolutely 6 Stars; no typo.
