The lodge itself it set amongst the gorgeous scenery of Little Cottonwood Canyon & has an excellent view of the mountains.
However, I feel that as a high-end, more expensive hotel, the amenities could certainly be improved upon….
For instance, the beds seemed uncomfortable & mis-shaped - & upon examination of the tag at the bottom of the bed, my sister & I were surprised to find that the mattress itself was 11 years old, manufactured back in 2015. (I don’t know how often hotels change out their guest beds - but replacing them soon would probably be in Snowbird’s best interests, as far as guest comfort goes.)

The scenery around here is gorgeous however the resort fails to live up to a resort standard. I can look past the expensive very mid food as you really have no other choice for restaurant here. However, when a NY'er finds MOST of the staff rude and off putting then theres an issue. The staff at the Atrium were nice and Austin at Seventy One was a peach compared to the others it left a sour taste in my mouth. The pools were great and I enjoyed those, but when it comes down to hospitality, it is lacking.

Great place to stay with your family has a direct access to tram to get up toe snowbird for skiing or snowboarding. Will surely come back another time. Friendly and helpful staff. The place is a bit of a maze for the first day. Must visit the seventyone has some great options. Spa is amazing wish had more time to relax at the spa.
