“We adopted a 10-week-old rescue puppy who didn’t have much opportunity to learn from her mother, so we wanted to be proactive about training and potential behavior challenges. We enrolled our puppy, Moodong in the one-month Puppy Scholar program at Train Walk Poop, and it was a great decision.
Our trainer, Kristen, and the entire staff were fantastic. They really took the time to understand our needs and made sure we, as owners, were learning alongside our puppy so the training would be effective at home. Their approach focuses on positive reinforcement rather than punishment, which we truly appreciate.
We’ve been very happy with both their philosophy and the results. On top of that, their drop-off (6–9 AM) and pick-up (5–7 PM) times are incredibly convenient for anyone with an early or late work schedule.

This is one of the few places in SLC that could accommodate to reactive dogs like mine and she was able to get alone time with the staff. I received some videos of her playing which made me feel much more at ease & I know she had a good time because she’d be smiling ear to ear when I’d pick her up! I also noticed they clipped her nails (which are close to impossible for me to clip on my own) so thank you so much for that! I appreciate you guys caring for my sweet girl.
