Jive was closed in July of 2023. A new dance studio, Family Rhythm, has established a family-oriented studio. Ages 2 and up are welcome to take classes and be part of the dance family.

I put my kids in classes here for their first dance experience. They loved it and made friends. One of them was unsure about performing, but she did and was so happy and excited to do all the performances after that. That class was good. The teacher worked with each child individually as needed and they spent 10-15 mins on the Barre so they learned a bit of technique.The other class was not good. The teachers spent the first 20 minutes of class time stretching. I understand the importance of warm ups and stretching, but that was ridiculous. i love jive! ive been dancing there for 6 years and ive loved it! its a very inclusive place and you feel very welcome. the end of year concerts are my favorite and i love not having to spend hours at the studio but still being able to grow as a person a d dancer :)
