Can't say enough good thing about our experience here. Felt totally loved, accepted, and understood. There is no judgement. Gentle but firm push for improvement. Amazing understanding of how best to retrain the brain. The staff is very patient and willing to go over instructions for as long as it take to understand them. I came to Cognitive Fx from Washington, DC, following a 5-year battle with long COVID. It has been revelatory to learn that long COVID caused a mild TBI and that my brain injury is similar to concussion patients and others who have had severe head injuries. From the first (virtual) encounter with the team I felt confident that their research and methods were solid and would make a difference in my life. Once at the clinic, it was fascinating to learn - multiple times a day - about the specific areas of damage to my brain, how that aligned with my symptoms, and most importantly what I could do to help heal it.
