“A little over a year ago my husband and I were in a car accident. It didn't seem that we had suffered any injuries, but we decided it would be a good idea to see a chiropractor anyway. Dr. Fullmer was immediately so personable and enjoyable to talk to. He took X-rays at the first appointment and we had adjustments done. At the next appointment we looked over the X-rays and talked about our plan of action. It didn't seem that we'd gotten injuries from the car accident, but both of us had general issues from daily habits - my problems were definitely more severe, but my husband needed some upkeep too. We decided to start seeing Dr. Fullmer regularly, like once every week and then every other week after that to start. I could obviously tell a difference in my posture and everything was feeling much better after a few visits. Not two months after we'd started chiropractic care, I became pregnant (after 3 years of possibility). My husband and I believe that it correlated with the chiropractor visits. My lower spine was twisted in the first X-ray, and Dr. Fullmer had explained that that area affects fertility (before we'd even seen the X-ray results). I had remembered that nugget of information because I'd wondered about it. We didn't feel like it was a coincidence when it happened so suddenly. My husband's second X-ray a few months later looked obviously better than the first, but I didn't get a second (because I was pregnant). However Dr. Fullmer is also certified in prenatal, postnatal, and infant chiropractics, so I kept seeing him throughout my entire pregnancy. It was a major lifesaver and I had a very comfortable pregnancy with decent sleep. Now I have a wonderful ten week old baby. Around week 8 she became uncharacteristically fussy and we thought it was due to gas or a potentially problematic lip tie (causing gas and a slew of other things). I took her in to see Dr. Fullmer and he did an infant adjustment (very gentle movements and pretty funny to watch) and the improvement immediately after was MAGICAL. She started sleeping so much better and I actually cancelled a lip tie release appointment that I'd scheduled out of desperation (it's more ideal to wait a little longer in her particular case) because she was eating better and acting more herself again. Now, a few weeks later, I'm taking her with me to see Dr. Fullmer once a week and we've seen her eating technique improve. We've also noticed her torticollis looking so much better (her head is rounding out on its own) and she's obviously less strained to one side when we hold her and feed her.Anyway, that was a long-winded explanation as to why we absolutely recommend Dr. Fullmer for routine care, prenatal care, and infant care. Consistency is key, though. It takes commitment. I'm so happy that we stuck with it and I'm now actually really thankful that we got in that car accident. ?“
