Pet Urgent Care is a locally owned and operated emergency veterinary clinic in Orem, UT. Serving Utah County and beyond for over 15 years, they provide care for pets in urgent situations. Clients praise the clinic for being available late nights and on weekends, with short wait times. They have treated both dogs and cats for various issues, including wounds, foxtails, and end-of-life care. The staff is described as kind and supportive, going the extra mile to comfort pet owners during difficult times. They also offer cremation services with personalized touches, such as paw print cards. Despite busy walk-in hours like an ER and only one vet caring for all animals, many clients appreciate the effort the staff makes. The veterinary team is attentive and helpful, with vets like the one who explained the need to sedate a cat to treat her mouth, and the friendly phone staff who advise pet owners on whether it’s an emergency. The clinic is especially known for their compassionate care, calming anxious pets, and offering clear cost estimates to prevent surprises. Overall, Pet Urgent Care is highly recommended for pet owners needing urgent veterinary assistance.
I was really nervous to bring my dog here because of these reviews, but she was struggling to walk, breathe, all kinds of things and we needed to get her somewhere quick. These guys were awesome. We ended up having to put my 2 year old puppy down, after their very thorough testing to discover she was in severe pain and dealing with the effects of leukemia. I seriously appreciate the entire staff and the TLC we were given. Such a hard night last night.
Been here on a few unscheduled/unexpected vet visits. Always impressed with the kindness and care of the staff. Never fun to get a surprise vet bill but they do a good job and the prices are fair.
My poor puppy had the end of her tail clipped in a bike chain. This was one of the only places that was open in Utah County. They were so good to her and got her all stitched up. The only complaint we have is that they did not offer very good financing options, but it was an overall positive experience. We are very thankful they were able to help us out.
