I recommended several to Dr bishop for a breast augmentation, but I did not find myself satisfied the same with my tummy tuck. The scar is not symmetrical. It is about an inch higher on my right side that on my left side. Makes it difficult for certain bathing suits, etc. I had also told the doctor about these lumps I was getting in the incision. I felt that my complaint was ignored. The lumps grew larger and were cysts and he had to re-open the incision and take the cysts out (at my cost) which left a nasty scar. My brother is a plastic surgeon & got a recommendation for Dr. Bishop from a former coworker that worked with him CA - He said he is a great surgeon & great guy and I saw both of this. I had 2 other consults for a tummy tuck & hernia repair and I really loved Dr. Bishop's personality the most, very friendly & personable. He made me feel comfortable with what I wanted done. The other surgeons had their own ideas what to do but Dr. Bishop listened to me and what I wanted & made it possible. He is also a lot more affordable and only had a month wait as opposed to other plastic surgeons who are years out & are very costly. I had Breast Aug Replacement with reconstruction done by Dr Bishop. His office staff were really nice every visit and remembered me each visit which made it personable... I am just 10 days out of surgery and feel confident and excited about my look. Dr Bishop was very thorough in discussing my needs and wants. Surgery went really well, no complications at all.
