I was stupid and lifted a large weight in back of my head 15 times. The previous time I did this it took a month for me to be able to move my neck at all from side-to-side, and my upper back was hurting significantly for about 3 weeks. At my wife's urging, I went in, and received a full chiropractic treatment. Though the treatment felt good, I was fairly skeptical that it would make much of a difference in my recovery. However, that very evening my muscles relaxed noticeably. The day after I felt really good. It is now two days later, and I am almost completely back to normal. Very rarely in this life do you get more than what you paid for, but I certainly did this time.
