I decided to leave Bluehost after repeated frustrations with long customer service wait times, promises from representatives that were not followed through on, and website speeds that I found disappointing compared with other hosting providers.
Unfortunately, the cancellation experience made things worse.
During cancellation, a Bluehost representative reviewed my account and provided specific prorated refund amounts totaling $391.62, including the remaining months of service and how the refunds would be returned.

Scam business practices. They charged my card 15 days before the official expiration date without authorization. When I contacted support 10 minutes later, they locked my account interface, making it impossible to turn off auto-renew, and refused a refund. Agressive auto-renewals that you cannot do nothing about. Terrible and abusive company, stay away!
