Good golf course at a good price.
My critique is often being made to feel rushed. Often, I wait to tee off on nearly every hole. I don't particularly mind this, as I understand affordable courses in big cities can have wait times. What I do not appreciate, however, is being told to speed up and shoot for a specific time on the round - when the speed limiter is always groups in front. I do not think this is an issue of specific slow players (though that's possible), but rather a systematic overbooking of the course. Simply telling people to play faster (sometimes rudely) does not solve the problem.
Eaglewood is in my top 5 courses in the Salt Lake area. Always in good shape and always welcoming staff to greet you before the round. The course was also kind enough to allow me to get my first hole in one!
First Class staff, course was outstanding and took adv of deals in the proshop! Nov ‘25 Visited SLC and was lucky to find Eaglewood. Their Google reviews are what I went off of and Eaglewood delivered! Even rented a set of men’s Srixon clubs and the round + clubs was reasonable and quality. Very pleased. Thanks Eaglewood!
