We purchased a home about a month ago. Perry was great to work with especially as we needed time to sell our old house! Everyone we’ve worked with has been great. Our house had a few flaws before closing, as they all do, and they have been great about the fixes. They’re quick to respond and seem to really care about us being happy about the house!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great experience with Perry homes. My wife and I have built with other builders and there is no comparison. Perry homes blew the others out of the water. Their attention to detail, quality, consistency and customer service is absolutely top notch. We would definitely recommend Perry homes.

Overall my wife and I had a really great experience with Perry Homes. This is our second build, so I actually had another build to compare the experience with. I will say that about 90% of the experience was better with Perry. Hands down the biggest thing that Perry did for us was make some last minute (and I mean last minute) changes on a spec home that we found. When we found the home, it was just about to be drywalled. We really loved the floor plan, the lot, the 9 ft' basement, the taller 3rd car, etc., so we REALLY wanted THIS house. However, because it was a spec home, the kitchen was already designed but it wasn't exactly what we wanted and that was going to be a deal breaker for us. Perry temporarily stopped drywall so that we could change wiring and cabinetry in the kitchen. The kitchen was really the only thing that didn't make this home our dream home. But Perry was willing to change that, and made it happen. I don't think most builders would be willing to stop construction to make customizations on a spec home, especially the big national ones. And not only did we change a lot of the kitchen, we changed a lot of other things too, and Perry was okay with it. Ultimately giving us a home that we so far really love! A few mistakes were made along the build process. I would say this is likely going to happen with any builder you choose. There is a lot that goes into a home, so things are bound to happen. But what separates a good builder from the bad ones, are ones that listen to you and get the problem fixed. Perry did listen to us and got things fixed, and they did it quite attentively. I also loved that Perry gave us access to the home as it was being built. This allowed us to catch those problems early and made us feel that we were indeed getting the home that we wanted. With the last builder we went with, we were always locked out of the home and couldn't watch it come together which made the experience a little less exciting. Along the way we met a few of the subs and really liked them. They were nice people and did what seems to be quality work. And after being moved in for about 3 weeks, almost all of the warranty/repair work noted in our final walkthrough has already been completed and is to our satisfaction. Mara was also great to work with. She is so quick to respond (even at 8:00 PM at night), kind, and very knowledgeable since she has been with Perry Homes for years and years. Lastly, we really liked that the lighting of your home is done with Lighting & Design. This gives you endless options for lighting and makes your home feel more custom, because you're not picking from a small set of items at a design center which means you likely have the same things as everyone else in the neighborhood. Obviously this isn't the case for every material picked for your home (a lot of your decisions do come from a design center). Things we didn't like as much: - Perry telling us we couldn't meet with or talk with the superintendent about our home as it was under construction. There are a lot of technical/construction related questions that a buyer will have about their home that the superintendent is just better suited to answer. But they made us go through the agent which I don't think was the best. To me this doesn't make sense and with a previous builder I communicated with the superintendent a lot. - When we did finally get to meet with and talk over the house with the superintendent on final inspection day, a lot of things we pointed out we felt weren't taken very seriously. We basically got told run around responses that were just made to get Perry off the hook for fixing, ultimately reducing the amount of things they had to either fix there or come back to fix. Note that this wasn't for everything, but some items we pointed out. Overall, you can see the pros (by far) out weigh the cons when it comes to Perry.
