This is the second time I’ve worked with Mikell, and once again, he delivered. He’s super responsive, always quick to pick up the phone or reply to emails, and really takes the time to explain all the technical stuff in a way that makes sense. What really stood out this time was how willing he was to stay competitive—even when a surprise offer came in from another lender late in the game (after we’d already done most of the paperwork), he didn’t hesitate to match it and keep things on track. It made a stressful moment feel totally manageable. He’s been great both times, and there’s no question—he’ll be my go-to broker in the future. Highly recommend!

Simply the best! Shopped around and was working with a few other mtg companies but landed with Chris Roberts Mtg.. Really it was Mikell Brown that won my business by being straightforward with no BS or bells and whistles. Didn’t need all that added smoke screen to muddy the waters on a home purchase. Bottoms line Mikell was a straight shooter and beat everyone to the punch on responsiveness. He and his team worked hard for my business and closed pain-free in record time on a tight deal. First time home buyer and put in over 30 offers to be repeatedly frustrated so as I became an expert on offers but was still a rookie on mortgage rates and quotes and how to clarify...read full review

I’ve used Mikell for 3 mortgages and several refinance deals. We recently bought a house and he was able to finance it in about 11 days giving us the edge we needed to get our offer approved, by the seller, with 8 other offers on the table. Amazing! He will work hard to get you the best rate and explain it all along the way. Highly recommend!
