About Mystic Hot Springs
Mystic Hot Springs is a unique and rustic getaway that offers a range of accommodations, including colorful school buses turned into apartments, RV spots with hookups, and tent camping sites with firepits. The main attraction is the hot springs themselves, with a simple layout featuring two main lower pools and an overlook with small tubs of varying temperatures. The property is home to farm ducks, peacocks, and kitties that roam freely, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. With a limited and spaced-out reservation system, guests can enjoy superior seclusion and relaxation in this off-the-beaten-path paradise. While prices have increased and soaking passes are no longer included with overnight stays, Mystic Hot Springs remains a one-of-a-kind destination for those seeking a down-to-earth hot springs experience.
My sister was visiting from out of state. They really wanted to go visit this place. I probably would not have done it otherwise. I'm glad we went. It was really neat and had a pretty cool hippie style atmosphere. I liked the whole experience. We went on a weekday so there wasn't very many people.
Quirky, slightly rundown (but in a fun way) hot springs resort from the '50s
Admission $28/person, slightly high IMO but reasonable
Restrooms available at the base, 2-3 minutes' walk from the pools
A really unique place definitely worth the visit for the hot springs at least. The woman who checked us in and the man checking the temps were very nice, and the tubs weren’t crowded one bit- it was really just us and another couple. Good vibes, relaxing and beautiful experience. I wouldn’t say it’s polished, don’t go in expecting that. I wasn’t there for a polished experience an I loved everything about it. Actually it would lose its charm if it were much more polished than it is. Thanks for the good experience
