About Thanksgiving Point
Thanksgiving Point is a diverse 501(c)(3) nonprofit complex that offers a range of educational and family-friendly attractions. The Museum of Ancient Life, Farm Country, the Museum of Natural Curiosity, the Ashton Gardens, and the Butterfly Biosphere provide visitors with engaging experiences. While the staff are friendly and helpful, the surrounding area can be challenging due to impatient and rude drivers. The annual membership is highly recommended, as the complex has many educational and fun activities suitable for all ages, regardless of the weather.
Always a great stop to check out the butterfly biosphere.SLC drivers are really impatient and some are quite rude and road rage prone, major downfall to this entire valley - everyone is in a hurry...
Best place to take your kids (and kids at heart) without them getting bored too quickly. Annual membership a must. Weather doesn't matter either. They have lots of extra activities that are educational and fun. Personally, I love the ancient life museum and their vast fossil and dinosaur collection. Their staff are friendly and helpful.
The Museum of Natural Curiosity is a very good place for kids at every age. You can stay there all day. Make sure to bring a change of clothes for your kid. The Butterfly Biosphere was also nice but make sure you go there when they release maximum species. We could see only 3 different butterflies.
