Wasatch is super professional and has the most friendly staff! They were very helpful in helping me choose my glasses and bent over backwards to help me order the ones I wanted. Awesome experience!

I've been going here for years for eye examinations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Taylor is very kind and professional. Cute location on Main Street in Kaysville.

In the past six weeks, I've made several visits to this office. Initially, I took my 3 year old in to buy vision glasses. I went back, for an eye exam; and had my 5 year old get one too. Dr. Taylor has a very-good bedside manner. I felt like he did a thorough job. And he was wonderful with my kid. My 3 year old has to see a pediatric ophthalmologist at the local children's hospital, because her vision problems are extreme & extend beyond the typical: 20/20 diagnosis. Anyway, it turns out that my 5 year old needs vision glasses too. Here's my rundown of buying glasses through this office: Both pairs of glasses took 7+ days to arrive @ the office. A mere 13 days after I picked up the glasses for my 3 year old, the frames snapped; and the lenses were ridiculously scratched- even after I paid for the scratch-resistant coating. I paid $180 for these glasses! Thank goodness a 2 year warranty was included in the price. However, I was still not thrilled. When I purchased the glasses, I asked the gal in the office if she had any suggestions about what I could do to prevent glasses mishaps, since my 3 year old was the one wearing them? Both @ the initial visit, & at the one where I brought the glasses in for replacement; she had no suggestions. Contrast this to the experience I had at the Walmart optical (of all places!!!). I took my 3 year olds eye prescription there to get a cheap-y spare pair for her. Walmart sells $9 frames for kids. At Walmart the eyeglasses were ready 24 hours later. And when I told the Walmart employee that my daughters other pair of glasses had broken so quickly, she gave me a complimentary children's eyeglass band. It comfortably affixes the glasses to my 3 year olds head. And it solved 90% of the problems she was experiencing: ie-the glasses falling off, or the 3 year old taking them off & losing them. After all of that, I did still buy my 5 year old glasses at Wasatch Optical. Her eyeglasses were in the $200 range. But they're covered by that awesome warranty... Talk to me again in 2 years, after the warranty has expired. By then, I'll be able to better speak to the cost/benefit of buying eyeglasses from Wasatch Optical.
