“Dyson - Angel sent by God! No joke! Here's what happened. Gemini Bridges, Chevy Malibu (car rental)....close to 6 pm with no one in sight. BAM! Car stuck as I was trying to turn around (Left front wheel went down a rock step and if you go forward, you'd wreck the whole bottom of the car!). Lo and behold, Dyson and his wife, Crystal, just so happen to be visiting Gemini Bridges and were on their way out. They saw us and immediately started to help. After some inspection, Dyson had 4-5 pull straps and brilliantly tied them in such a way that he was able to pull us out. If they weren't there, it would have definitely taken many hours and quite a bit of money to get a tow truck. But did they then leave and go their merry way? NO! They insisted on following us out until we were safe. These are the kind of people they are. SUPER KIND and generous with their time. I gave them some money and he refused so I had to really insist. Most people would just say thanks and take it (as they should, of course). The point is, this shows his true character of just trying to help strangers. He was very happy to help us and he (and Crystal) didn't make us feel like we were imposing on their time. Just super amazing, kind-hearted people. I would DEFINITELY trust him to do any handyman service. Too bad we live in Canada, otherwise I would absolutely hire him. “There are several things i like about Jim. I like paying him by the hour. Even though he's honest, there are many who are not. So, you pay him after he does the work each day he is there. He can't make off with several thousand dollars of unfinished work because he doesn't require pay up front. It's great for my situation. He truly saved us a lot of money by doing it this way. He is not slow, either, at what i saw him do: build a wall, sheetrock, mud, texture, do electrical, hang a door........he's got tools and techniques! I was so overwhelmed by the electrical and for Jim, no big deal. It seemed like a mess and he sorted right through our requests.Another thing i like about Jim is he's happy to have me helping, working alongside him. That way, the project can go even faster- hence, saving money, i can learn more tricks of the trade, i'm intricately involved and motivated cause i have great help, and i'm more open to suggestions as i see the work and issues unfold.
