“There are several things i like about Jim. I like paying him by the hour. Even though he's honest, there are many who are not. So, you pay him after he does the work each day he is there. He can't make off with several thousand dollars of unfinished work because he doesn't require pay up front. It's great for my situation. He truly saved us a lot of money by doing it this way. He is not slow, either, at what i saw him do: build a wall, sheetrock, mud, texture, do electrical, hang a door........he's got tools and techniques! I was so overwhelmed by the electrical and for Jim, no big deal. It seemed like a mess and he sorted right through our requests.Another thing i like about Jim is he's happy to have me helping, working alongside him. That way, the project can go even faster- hence, saving money, i can learn more tricks of the trade, i'm intricately involved and motivated cause i have great help, and i'm more open to suggestions as i see the work and issues unfold.
