As a hobby ‘farmer’ I’ve been buying seeds from Great Basin and Haystack Mountain for years. They have an awesome variety. I’ve planted everything from wildflowers to alternate forages (trefoil, sanfoin, etc). Pretty sure I even planted some Mountain Mahogany from them. They have excellent customer service. They are more honest and helpful than a typical Big Ag seed supplier. They have enough variety to actually cater to your property (soil type, water availability, winter temperatures, and production goals) as opposed to pushing the product down the distribution chain from Bayer. And will take the time to answer questions with sincere and competent answers.
