A couple years ago I was subjected to the infamous con artist contractor that was supposed to build me a tiered backyard with a decent sized retaining wall since my house is on a pretty steep hill. About $7000 later and a “disappearing contractor” I had nothing to show for it, but a very poorly built half retaining wall that a year later had already started rolling down my hill. I’d priced out a bunch of different contractors over the last couple years trying to get it finished with no luck. Flakey contractors, no shows, ridiculously high bids, you name it.I was fortunate enough that a friend of mine knew Weston and referred me. He showed up same day, talked through all of my ideas, wants, hopes, and provided me a very reasonable estimate the next day. He was flexible, extremely easy to work with, and very VERY talented. He explained along the way how to properly build things, what he was doing to secure things, all so I felt comfortable with his work. He provided me suggestions and ideas as the project was moving, was completely upfront and honest with the costs of all of the changes we decided to make along the way. The finished product was, by far, much better than I could’ve imagined. He took the time to put in the extra details of compacting the soil and making sure everything was solid and not going anywhere. He helped with some drainage issues that my slope was likely to have due to the grade, and prepped for another contractors to install concrete and eventually drip lines, truly going above and beyond.Weston was aware of my previous situation and assured me since day one - He made sure I was 100% happy with the end product before he left my house or finished up any payments - making sure I wasn’t worried I was dealing with a sketchy situation again. I had so much respect and trust for him through the entire process. He held up to it and I’m definitely happy. Highly recommend.
