I was getting my hair cut here for a little while, and they always did really good. I always left happy with the results. Each time I was there the staff always asked if I needed anything to drink or if they were anything more they could do for me. The staff was always very polite, worked quickly, and performed with excellence. The salon was always very clean. My only complaint was the pricing. When I first started going there it was a little cheaper for me because I knew one of the staff, but the price continued to increase the longer I was there. I like my hair on the long side; just hitting my shoulders with flossy body and curls. Perms are the best solution for me and I've had plenty of them in my lifetime, so I familiar with the chemical processes involved and more importantly, the skills of the stylist. I'm also familiar with the tone and setting of various hair salons many of which are focused on pizzazz and pomposity while hectic, loud music reminds employees to keep up a frenzied pace. I've grown weary of all that hurried noise -- but I still want my perms, a master stylist, and a comfortable, professional salon (a little girlie, too), where I can feel good about spending money on myself. I called Salon Beauté without a referral and luckily got an appointment with Mary Mata. After a pleasant first meeting Mary examined my hair and knew immediately that an Option Exo perm would be perfect for my dark blonde hair that had gray splattered throughout especially at the temples. The Option Exo is a "damage-free exothermic perm for energized curls on longer and resistant or gray hair." This was the first time this perming product was used on my hair, and it turned out beautifully! No frizz or damage at all; just soft, bouncy curls and lots of fluffy body. Mary did a fantastic job rolling each strand of hair with the large permanent rods and paid close attention to all the details necessary to ensure a good outcome. I couldn't be happier with the results. This was one of those rare moments when everything comes together perfectly; the wonderful energy of the salon was palpable - it just felt good all over. The "hello" smiles from the other stylists seemed genuine and warmhearted, too. A really good experience!

In response to Poorvi Sandesara's review, Salon Beaute is strictly a hair salon and does not provide manicure/pedicures to the public. She must have mistakenly mixed up the name of the salon she visited with Salon Beaute, who prides themselves on their cleanliness and customer service!!!
