Decided out of nowhere to go check the shelter after seeing some huskies and a malamute. opened up the website and saw Wolf! called to see if we could come see him. took the trip down there and the instant wolf came out we said he was coming home! as we filled out paperwork my husband asked about a barn cat program. well, let's just say we took home Wolf along with a feral momma and her 4 kittens!

It has almost been a year ago that my dad adopted a Labrador from Waxahachie Animal Control. I went out on a whim to see what dogs were available, Sadly there were a lot of dogs in need of homes. Any size, shape, color, or temperament can be found here. I was shocked to find out how few animals are rescued every year. This is a picture of Boone. He is by far one of the smartest dogs i have ever been around. He was about 9 months old when we adopted him. He is now micro-chipped (thanks to WACC) and received a clean bill of health before we took him home. PLEASE go by and see if your new best friend could be a rescue before buying from a dog breeder.
