I am generally not a fan of gyms, both for the hassle of going and for the personalities you sometimes find there. Consequently, I typically do my workouts in my basement. However, I'm traveling for the holidays and I need a place to go. I found Simple Gym online and was glad to see it's exactly what the name implies. There is a great variety of equipment and plenty of it so that there are no traffic jams. The price is reasonable and there is easy barcode access and 24-hour availability. Great spot.

Ok, it does seem at first to be cramped, but that's the only downside. Membership is under $30, there is a full assortment of weights and cables. And, on the second side, there is enough cardio equipment, so no waiting. It looks like it is cleaned often enough and plenty of spray is around to get the job done. The only thing I dislike is the white walls. It seems just too bright in there, lol.
