“I showed up about 9 months ago and didn’t know anyone at the gym. Everyone is very welcoming and help you along the way. Scott is a great, knowledgeable and patient instructor. Paul brings a lot of energy to the classes and is very motivating. If you are thinking about trying BJJ please stop by and meet the rest of the students. They are all welcoming and great people. “My son who is now eight has been coming to this soho for one year. Before choosing, we've tried out a class, in almost every existing studio in the Kuykendahl/Louetta Spring area. We need it down to two, but ultimately Ultimate Warrior because I came highly recommended by a trusted friend, and I agreed with the methodology of its owner JakeAnd his staff. They are firm and nurturing, disciplined, yet still fun. Other successful places in the area wasn't a great fit as they felt more industrial and performed for appearances than what I had in mind.I ultimately chose ultimate warrior for my son, because he has fun while learning to protect himself at a very natural pace. Further, because my son is clumsy... They also work on "how to" fall effectively. After just one of these classes, my son was riding horse riding and was bucked off the rear from about 6 foot off the ground. As he fell, he automatically went into a forward fall position and saved his face and glasses from hitting the ground. Needless to say, after seeing this, I am sold that the methods taught here are effective and strategies used for learning these skills are something that kids can relate to easily.An added bonus is that Jake must have a radar that draws in good people. All the parents I've met here have been really kind and so are the students and coaches.“

“My 3.5 year old had the opportunity to participate in a free trail at Elite Eagle. Unfortunately, our summer plans changed and we were not able to commit to a full time registration here. However, we have nothing but great things to say about Master Pae. My little one is known to be wild and with limited focus, but his respect and close attention to Master Pae was almost immediate! We have taken several life lessons home with us and applied them to our daily routines... not only did our son learn but so did my husband and I! The children we watched in class have excellent focus and respect for their elders. This is not a free-for-all playground... this is a school for learning discipline, focus, and technique and for serious students only. Master Pae makes all expectations clear before joining, and not only is that great for teaching but also great business practice.“
