One example was the use of the term “buckled” in regards to flooring, and the inspector added his opinion that all wood flooring should be sanded and re-stained. In reality, the floors were beautifully finished in shape, texture, and finish from wall to wall, and consistent even on stair landings. Misusing such a loaded term is not just misleading but grounds for a formal TREC complaint.
