The hair salon here is a fun place for a quick wash or blow dry. Spa conjures up images of luxury and relaxation and attention to detail. The shampoo was minimal to get the job done. I was hoping for a little head and neck massage with shampoo, but no such luck here! This is a nice place with good service, but not comparable to the luxurious Trellis Spa at Houstonian!! The Trellis is still best in Texas or USA!! True pampering -- Waterway Marriot calls itself a Spa, but a nice hair salon. No special bells or whistles. My services were on 6/20/25. The facial, massage and body scrub were excellent. Front desk staff is attentive. They even ordered my lunch for me as a courtesy. My hair blow out was good.
I do NOT recommend getting nails done here. Both the mani and pedi felt like express services and not what you would expect from a high end spa especially for the price.
My nail tech was sloppy and spent 10 mins on a personal call during my mani. Rude and frustrating. The nail experience kept this from being a 5 star experience.
I had an amazing experience with Andrea for a manicure and Pedi! It was relaxing, nails looked stunning and the conversation was wonderful. THE view to the waterway makes this such a unique experience. Only bummer, my massage chair didn't work.
