Dr Gary Old at the Richmond Road Veterinary Clinic in Texarkana Texas is absolutely awesome! The entire staff was pleasant helpful and put us at ease immediately when we arrived with our dog for ACL surgery. We drove from Tyler on the recommendation of a good friend saying that Dr Old was a remarkable surgeon and a fantastic person as well.
We were there for the initial consultation as well as surgery. The consultation was very informative, with Dr Old answering all of our questions and informing us as to what to expect from the surgery. The entire staff could not have been any nicer.

Our 7 year old Dachshund "Alijah" walked today. It is the 10th day after Dr. Old performed emergency surgery on him after a rupture of the L2-L3 vertebrae. His hind legs were paralyzed. Highly recommend Dr. Old and his courteous and accommodating staff..Also anyone going through this, immediate therapy including laser I feel is paramount.
Our precious Dakota had torn his CCL/ and fractured his leg! We tried getting him help for months before it even fractured but it became an emergency and we were referred to Dr. Old. They got us in right away and Dakota had Knee Surgery the same day! He’s in recovery process now 1 month since surgery today and doing well. We were very impressed with Dr. Old , his wife and the staff. They were extremely professional and caring. We cannot thank you enough for helping our Dakota. You were excellent and the fact that you immediately got him into surgery that day meant the World to us. You all are appreciated more than you know. Thank you so much.
