I would like to leave a review after my children had Martial Arts classes at Tiger Rock. My first child took his Martial Arts class starting from the White belt to the Black belt while my little one started her class from a Tigercub class and built her way up to the Blue belt.
I do not regret to have my children taking Martial Arts here because Tiger Rock does not only give self-defence lessons but they also teach students to be discipline, compassionate and respect themselves and others. I have been taking my two boys ages 6 & 7 there for almost a year and absolutely enjoyed everything about Tiger Rock! The staff is extremely patient and kind to the students. Both of my kids have improved in mannerism and punctuality since they started which makes it easier for me at home. Their behavior and listening skills have improved tremendously this year because of Tiger Rock staff and classes. I enjoyed the program because they have kids in different age groups which they can learn from the older kids. It’s also nice to see a familiar face as most of the kids go to the same schools. We spent some time looking for a martial arts academy where our 13 years old could learn defense techniques, discipline and have a great welcoming and social environment. It wasn’t an easy task until we were invited to visit Tiger Rocks Sugar Land academy one Saturday. Mr. Kirkpatrick answered all our concerns and more. Our son felt very confident and he was ready to start right away.Time has passed and today, he earned his Green belt LV3. He has a gold metal and 2 bronze from last district competition.He has developed a higher self esteem and confidence on things he never thought he would do.
