“I had originally booked an appointment ahead of time elsewhere, but unfortunately it wasn’t accepted and I didn’t realize it. When we showed up to locked doors and the lights off, my heart sank for my daughter. 😞<br>She has very thick, dry, coily hair—something we don’t have in our family. I didn’t fully know how to care for it, and she would always keep it up in a high bun. That’s when I discovered chunks of matted hair. 💔 I was heartbroken and honestly embarrassed. I tried to help the only way I knew how at the time and ended up cutting a large portion of her hair, but I knew she needed a professional.<br>Evolutions salon has no idea how much it meant to me that they answered the phone after I had called four other places with no response.<br>They welcomed us in after hearing our situation—no judgment, just kindness.<br>From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and cared for.
