In February, we decided to replace our 17-year-old outside AC unit. We called several companies, and got bids for a 5 ton single-stage unit. After an assessment, by Michael Scogin, it was determined that we had a two-stage furnace, and a two stage outside unit would be a better choice for our situation. Mike and company quoted a price for the upgraded unit that was $11000+ less than the next lowest bid, had the unit installed and everything optimized, cleaned up and in much better shape in one day. Now Beryl knocked out our power for more than 8 days, and when the power came back on, our AC would not start. Imagine the hectic schedule Scogin-Aire is experiencing, post hurricane! A call to Scogin-Aire, and we had an appointment for one of their techs to come out and get the AC on at 2 pm the SAME DAY, and then found out Ms. Tammy in the office found a way to work us in at 10am! The attention to the needs and concerns of their customers is unreal, but true, none-the less. Want a new system at more than twice the price, with service techs that almost cannot be bothered? Don't call Scogins-Aire- you'll be VERY disappointed, but if you want extremely competitive pricing with attention to your needs as a customer, call Mike and his crew- they'll treat you right!
