About Advanced Spine and Pain Specialists: Andrew Khoury, MD
Advanced Spine and Pain Specialists offers exceptional care. The staff cares and is very nice and professional. Patients appreciate being listened to and feeling comfortable discussing their concerns. The staff is friendly and makes patients feel welcome, remembering names and going above and beyond to provide personal care. Dr. Khoury sits down and listens very carefully, addressing all concerns and explaining things. The place is clean and organized. While they are efficient performing back injections, there have been issues with overbooking surgeries, leading to long waits.
I highly recommend Dr Khoury and his staff at Advanced Spine and Pain Specialists! Long review - apologies! I was unable to leave full review on Google reviews due to character limit - full review below. Doctor Khoury and his staff at Advanced Spine and Pain Specialists are amazing! Gentle, understanding, patient, compassionate and overall do an outstanding job on making sure everything goes according to plan daily but especially on procedure day. May be worth mentioning that even before I met Dr Khoury for the first time some of his already established patients in the waiting room overheard my mother and I speaking about my Physical Therapist referring me to him (my mom had asked how I had found Dr Khoury) and some of them spoke up and several told us .. "he's amazing", "you'll be glad you found Dr Khoury", and even ... "You're lucky to have found him so soon, I didn't find him until I lost everything after a car accident and couldn't work .. lost my job, home, my husband and everything was gone and then I found him by accident" ... and a lot more comments but I specifically remember those 3 the most. I was in awe by all the comments being so uplifting and positive - not a single person spoke an ill word about Dr Khoury or any of the staff. From check-in to check- out and every little moment in between (on consult day) had me pleasantly pleased. Then procedure day rolls around and much of the same... from check-in to check-out, to the nurse that walks you back and does your bp and o2, to nurse Tanna that did my IV, anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, Dr Khoury of course and the team with you during the procedure,.. then the nurse that walks you out, and even the sweet nurse (or PA) that called me the next day to make sure everything was still OK. I was beyond pleased with the care received! Then ..follow-up .. Amanda Worsham was very communicative, attentive and helpful. she really listened and discussed options with us on how to proceed with achieving pain relief results as we move forward. She said she'd discuss my cd and steps on moving forward with Dr Khoury and call (which I've heard a hundred of times from a doctor or PA but never get a call back) She did call! I saw her on Tuesday, had my cd back to them by close of day and Thursday morning I received her call for next steps and was put on the schedule for the next procedure. . Being in pain sucks - but having someone you rely on, whether it be your doctor, the PA, or even a nurse to keep their word makes things a little more manageable and helps you to see the light at the end of the very long and dark tunnel. When I started seeing Dr Khoury I did NOT want another doctor that would simply write a script for pain or nerve medication and send me on my way as I've experienced in so many other offices the last 3 years.. I stand firm on my decision and very adamant against taking narcotics to mask pain - (that only creates more issues and the pain signal is there to tell you something is wrong ). This office did NOT do that. If you're looking for a doctor that truly cares about his patients and their needs and truly tries to correct the problem - DR KHOURY IS THAT DOCTOR and Advanced Spine and Pain Specialists is THAT OFFICE... But, If you're looking for script writers ... or a quick fix with narcotics.. you'll want to go somewhere else. Dr Khoury is NOT adding to the drug epidemic taking over this country. This is truly an outstanding bunch of people and office that really do help you and more over, they want to help you. I've been through a lot in the last 14 years but especially the last 3 with back and leg pain that causes a lot of problems in my day to day life, which has also kept me from driving and working and even being social and attending social gatherings. My pain is debilitating and has truly changed my life. I've been trying to get to the bottom of where the pain is coming from for 3 1/2 years now and have seen an a
