Dan Keen Horsemanship is a highly recommended equestrian training facility known for its expertise in starting young horses and rehabilitating badly behaved horses. The staff, including Dan and his "cowboys," are praised for their professionalism, cleanliness, kindness, and vast knowledge. Clients have experienced remarkable transformations in their horses, from fearful and mean-spirited to happy, well-mannered, and sweet. The facility also features the charming presence of Black Betty the goat and a herd of gorgeous horses available for training. Customers express great satisfaction with the positive impact the training has had on their riding confidence and abilities.
The condition my horse was in upon arriving at Dan’s facility compared to when he left is the most disturbing thing you’ve ever seen. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. His ribs were sticking out and he is covered in multiple wounds (face, legs back etc) and can barely walk. If I could give less than one star I would! Please beware of where you send your horse to be boarded and trained!!!!!
Highly recommend. Dan has changed my horses life. He she was afraid of any and everything and was mean as a snake to boot. Definitely was not something that was fixable in a week. Nothing is. Definitely not my own bad habits. Now, my horse is happy, well mannered and sweet as a puppy.
I just love this place, the horses, the PEOPLE! DAN and his cowboys are the best. Coming back from years of not riding and then an injury Dan had me feeling like a new rider in the first lesson! Can't miss Black Betty the goat, and all the gorgeous horses there for training. Professional, NEXT LEVEL Clean, Kind, Knowledgeable and Safe. I'm so stinking happy with this place!! And I'm a much more confident and comfortable rider for my horse.
