“Thank you to the entire staff of Hansford Manor for the loving care of my aunt, RubyJo Wilbanks for the last few years of her life, and for the continued assisted living for her husband, my uncle, JD Willbanks. February 16, 2020 we all celebrated his 100th birthday. All the extras were done to bring the family and friends together with no stress and 100 beautiful blue balloons inflated, plus the special cakes. Letters from the Mayor of Spearman, Mayor Ginger Nelson of Amarillo who grew up in Spearman, Representative Four Price, a note and flag flown over the US Capitol from Congressman Mac Thornberry and a beautiful plaque from Governor Greg Abbott! Many cards from people all over the country and so many in attendance. I know Aunt RubyJo was present in spirit, as well as their nephew, Scott Bauer, who just passed away Feb. 11th in Tyler, Texas, Beautifully an honor celebrating 100 years of service by JD Wilbanks!!
