“In 2018, I purchased a new AO Smith Signature Select hot water heater and had it installed. I discovered last winter it had not installed per code. I reached out to MMR plumbing. They are a company that had been doing new construction but have expanded their services to residential service as well. My plumber today was amazing. His name is Jacob Vega and he was thorough and extremely proficient in correcting all my problems. In my initial conversation with him, I felt very comfortable and recognized that I did not need to worry; I knew that he knew exactly what he was doing. The pre-existing vent attached to the hot water heater was not correctly installed through the roof as it should have been. That carbon monoxide, which should have been escaping through the roof vent, was actually going into my attic. Jacob fixed that, he removed the old asbestos seal that should have been removed years before and was neglected, he repositioned the hot water heater from the floor and elevated it per code, and whatever other issues he encountered. He fixed everything and remained here in my home until he was satisfied that everything was operating as it should be. He even stayed to make sure that my water was properly flowing through the pipes. I am thankful that he was here, as I believe he is very skilled. I believe he loves what he does and the customer benefits from that. Before leaving, Jacob explained everything he did, he educated me on my need for a water softener and why I need one, and even completely cleaned up so I did not have to! It's refreshing to work with a company that is still dedicated to providing good customer service and actually ensuring that the customer's needs have been met before leaving. “Everyone from the sales rep to the technicians were great. I got recommended to them by a good friend of mine, and they lived up to it. My A/C went out on July 2nd so I called them the next day. Christian, the sales rep, arrived and went over everything the same day. He’s a really good guy but he has to have the easiest sales job ever because the benefits of the membership are unbeatable. Never imagined I could get this kind of service from a company period.

The techs, Paul and Andrew, were awesome as well. They came over on July 4th and were done by noon. Super professional, and I hope they get a bonus for doing all they did on a holiday to save my family from this Texas heat. Basically only took 24 hours from first call to driving away after installation. I can’t say enough good things, and I highly recommend everyone take a good look at the membership program. I’ll never have to go through my shitty home warranty for A/C again.

Time will tell if the repair service lives up to their reputation and good first impressions, but I have little doubt they won’t succeed. A+

Additional note: Andrew and Joe were great technicians for the drain leak I was dealing with. Absolutely quick and professional. It was great because there was a bit of a screw up on my booking time because of the international call line vs the direct San Antonio number. They came in unscheduled were put in less than an house with a completely new drain and pump. Great guys and a great service for dealing with the unconventional service. I really appreciate everything they do to fix bad situations.“

“Emil was very professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable, he explained the issues we were experiencing with our air conditioning unit. He also explained what the next steps would be to have our issue resolved. We were very comfortable with him providing the service.
Update 1 Oct 25. Emil returned to repair our air conditioning unit when our ordered parts came in. Once again his service was friendly and professional. He even accomplished additional work separate from the fan and wiring job he was scheduled to perform to improve our UV lights at both our air conditioning units. Well done!

On the first day, they correctly diagnosed that the issue was with the main line and explained my options clearly—either continue digging to locate the leak or return later to replace the entire line at a fixed price.

I initially chose the full replacement option. However, when they came back and began the work, they were able to locate the exact source of the leak early on. Instead of proceeding with the more expensive option, they gave me the choice to repair just that section. This saved me a substantial amount of money.
