Icon by Kings Korner is a full-service barbershop specializing in fades, trims, beards, men’s grooming, kids cuts, and shaves. It is a second location opened in March 2025. The shop is described as really spacious with many barbers to choose from. Reviews highlight great haircuts and services, noting the barbers are very professional and do a really good job, including on design haircuts for kids at a really good price. Icon by Kings Korner is top tier every time. The shop has a great vibe, super professional, and you can tell everyone takes pride in their work. Chandler is my barber and he’s consistently on point — clean fades, sharp lineups, and always makes sure the cut is exactly how you want it before you leave. Attention to detail is crazy and the experience is always solid. If you’re looking for a reliable barber who actually cares about the craft, this is the spot. Highly recommend.
This Barber shop, along with the great haircuts and services, have been avid participants in the community since opening. They’ve attended events at Texas State University, San Marcos high school, Miller middle school, and Goodnight middle school offering FREE haircuts to all students. Even during their grand opening offering free haircuts for ALL people of the San Marcos area. The owners have even been special guests at San Marcos high school multiple times to teach kids about buisness and cutting hair for the Cosmetology/barber classes. If this isn’t a clear representation of how high quality the barbers are in this shop, idk what is.
Mason Broussard was my barber and did an amazing job, by far one of the best cuts I’ve gotten, will definitely be coming back. If I could recommend anyone a barber, it would be Mason Broussard.
