“100% recommend Sandie!! I started coming to Sandie after my hairdresser in Austin became too hard to get to because of traffic/scheduling etc. I like most had never had someone else besides "my guy" touch my hair. Taking a chance I scheduled an appointment with Sandie, not sure what to expect.....Fast forward to one year later, I absolutely love her!! I get my hair done about once every month or so and absolutely love how she highlights/styles/takes care of my hair. Not only do I love the color she does, but she also will give me home remedies for taking care of my scalp and has also styled my hair for multiple events(the last at which I won best hair;))I really love Sandie as a hairdresser and as a person, she always tries to give me exactly what I want and if I want to be blonder or try something new (like pink!!) she always caters to what i am looking for, which is a quality I really appreciate when someone is all up in my hur. If you're new to SM or have been here for a while and are looking for someone new, go see Sandie! I've even recommended some of my Austinite homies to her as well;) it's easier to get here then there nowadays!!“

“This barber shop is the BOMB!!! I called ahead, and my man was waiting on me. I said my name, and he said right here. I discussed what I wanted and gave him a fair amount of leeway. He did not disappoint. I wish I could remember his name. He was a thick black guy with short dreads. I can't say enough about this place. The atmosphere and people are amazing.“
