I always go here for my braids. The pricing is good compared to what I've seen from home stylist. It takes a while, so you might be there 6 or more hours for bra length braids but just bring snacks and headphones. You'll be alright.
Overall the services were decent. On the app it gives a list of different colors you can choose from when getting box braids. I was asked "black or brown". So then I had to choose what size I chose the second from the smallest and bra strap length. I was told $204... for REGULAR BOX BRAIDS. I was ok with that as long as the came out good. I started with one lady and had to finish with another. Which would not have been a problem but my braids are very different in the front than the back. The back is uniform with very straight parts, smaller and shorter braids. The front parts are not uniform at all bigger and much longer. I have been to Kady's several times, so I know that a painful hairstyle is expected, but this time was absolutely mind-blowing in terms of pain and discomfort. I went into Kady's with my twists mostly down, but not fully combed out. Amy instructed one of the other stylists to do a blow out on my hair. This lady commenced to Rip and Tear through my hair with a comb and a blow dryer- no warning! She was on the phone the entire time so she wasn't able to see my constant pain as I grabbed my face and head in pain. I literally almost started crying.
